AVIOS - Trade Factsheet

Passengers can join at www.flybe.com/avios if UK, IOM or Channel Island resident.

  • Passengers travelling on scheduled flights operated by Flybe, Loganair and Stobart Air are eligible for Avios.
  • Passengers travelling on a Flybe ticket on a flight operated by Air France between MAN-CDG and BHX-CDG are eligible for Avios.
  • All bookings made via a GDS are eligible for Avios including ‘BAG’ and ‘NEW’ fare types.

  • Infants & children
  • Government taxes and charges (GB, FR, HB, IT, IZ, KV, LQ, OY, QD, YF, YO)
  • Additional ancillaries - bags, seats, golf clubs etc...
  • All change fees collected via a GDS and any change made online
  • Unpublished fare types where IT/BT appear on the ticket
  • Charter and part charter flights booked as part of a package

Adding Avios membership numbers via a GDS:

  • An Avios membership number will be a 16 digit number issued at the time of joining the scheme. When entering the number via the GDS the full 16 digits should be entered.
  • The Avios membership number should be added to the special services/frequent flyer field of the booking.
  • If a PNR contains more than one Avios member, the frequent flyer entry should be added against each Avios member so that each passenger is awarded the relevant points.
  • If the Avios number is not added at the time of booking, it can be added at any time prior to departure by the agent or by the passenger at the airport.
  • Flybe is unable to accept BA Executive Club membership numbers - this is a separate scheme and a separate Avios account must be created in order to collect on Flybe flights. Passengers will have two Avios accounts but can combine using the tool available at www.avios.com

  • The Avios membership number can be added during the online booking process.
  • If an Avios membership number is not advised at the time of booking, passengers can claim missing Avios points via the ‘Claim Avios’ process within the ‘Your Account’ functionality on Flybe.com
