Known for its breathtaking scenery – including 14 peaks at a height of over 4000m - Courmayeur skiing is perfect for all levels of ski ability. Its courses are well-served in terms of challenging runs, with a wide variety of treeless bowls, testing mogul fields, steep gulliers and wide open pistes available. Of course, beginner skiers are well-catered for too, with excellent tuition programs available on the easy-going nursery slopes located at Plan Checrouit and Maison Vieille. Advanced skiers can enjoy the challenges offered by the 9km run between the Cresta Youla to Val Veny as well as the Competizione.

After a day of skiing in Cormayeur you’ll want to unwind and relax in the spa town’s winding cobbled streets. The car-free centre is peppered with charming shops and stunning architecture, backed by stunning views of Mont Blanc. Chic clothes shops and delicious delis line the streets of the town centre whilst culture vultures can feast their eyes in the Alpine museum.

Once the lifts close for the evening, skiers pack into the town’s cosy bars to warm up next to log fires and sample some of the 50 restaurants on offer, with many specialising in local Italian cuisine. During the day hungry holiday makers can enjoy some of the delights offered up by the excellent cafes and bistros in the local area. There are also a number of less taxing winter sports on offer including an indoor ice rink, climbing wall and swimming pool.
