31 January 2012

Leading regional airline adds capacity to Paris for crucial Amlin Challenge Cup clash

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline and the UK’s Number One Domestic carrier, has been quick to throw its weight behind the success of the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club by putting on extra flights from Exeter to Paris Charles de Gaulle so that suppporters can travel to see their team play in the Amlin Challenge Cup Quarter Final on April 5th.

The Chiefs’ team will travel on Flybe’s Wednesday flight to Paris and the airline has, in addition, scheduled two extra flights to accommodate fans: an extra Exeter departure for Paris Charles de Gaulle on the morning of Thursday 5th and another returning on the morning of Friday 6th. This will allow the team’s South West fan base the opportunity to return home quickly and conveniently after celebrating the team’s success against last year’s finalists at the Stade Francais!

Simon Lilley, Flybe’s Director of Marketing, comments:

“Flybe has been sponsoring the Chiefs for two years and this is our opportunity to help the Club’s supporters follow their team on their exciting journey.”

“Our partnerships with regional sporting activities form a core part of Flybe’s continued commitment to champion the local communities in which we operate and we are pleased to be able to play a small part in supporting their success.”

Flights are available for booking now at and supporters are advised to book early to take advantage of the lowest possible fares.
