Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, started operating its 2017/18 Winter schedule from Aberdeen at the weekend (Sunday 29th October 2017), featuring eight routes with a choice of up to 128 departures a week. Seats are available for booking now at www.flybe.com for travel through to 24th March 2018. The airline’s Café Flybe has also been given a refresh, with brand new food and drink options available for passengers to buy onboard.
The 2017/18 Winter schedule features flights to London Heathrow, with the three times daily flights operating for the first time during the winter months having started in March 2017. Also operating for the first time this winter are weekly flights to Southampton and the recently launched Eastern Airways services to Kirkwall and Sumburgh in the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
The start of the Winter 2017/18 schedule also marks the launch of Flybe and Eastern Airways new franchise partnership, where all of Eastern Airways’ existing routes are now operating with BE flight codes. These include seven routes from Aberdeen that feature destinations such as Stornoway, Wick, Norwich and Newcastle, strengthening Flybe’s route network and giving passengers the benefit of enhanced connection choices throughout England and Scotland. As well as London Heathrow, Flybe’s Manchester and Birmingham hubs also offer a wide choice of long haul connections with its ‘One Stop to the World’ proposition, enabling travellers to book seamless onward travel to locations all over the world, with one check in and one ticket from with the relevant codeshare airline or through a local travel agent.
Ronnie Matheson, Flybe’s Interim Chief Commercial Officer comments: “Our 2017/18 Winter schedule provides reliable and affordable services for business travel as well a choice of leisure destinations for those looking to take advantage of a winter break.”
