FLYBE ADDS ANOTHER NEW SKI DESTINATION FROM MANCHESTER
Leading regional airline adds Innsbruck to expanded 2016-17 Winter schedule
23rd August 2016
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today (23rd August 2016) announced that it has added Innsbruck to its 2016-17 Winter schedule. A weekly service will connect Manchester with the popular ski destination between 18th December 2016 - 19th March 2017 with one way fares starting from £44.99 including taxes and charges. Flights are available for booking now at www.flybe.com.
Often referred to as the ‘Capital of the Alps’, Innsbruck is an internationally-renowned winter sports destination. The Austrian city sits in the Inn valley, where travellers can enjoy the picturesque surroundings before heading off into the mountains. Having hosted two Winter Olympics and two Winter Paralympics, Innsbruck is no stranger to world-class snow sports and by flying direct, passengers can be on Austrian soil just over two hours after leaving Manchester.
Flybe’s Chief Revenue Officer, Vincent Hodder, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our schedule from Manchester with the addition of Innsbruck this winter. This means there are even more places to enjoy a ski or cultural city break for North West travellers this year. With 25 other routes available from Manchester we’re confident that passengers will find a destination to suit them this winter.”
