FLYBE’S SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER SALE INCLUDES FAMILY TRAVEL BARGAINS OVER PEAK SCHOOL HOLIDAY PERIODS

Leading regional airline supports families with bargains for peak time summer holiday travel with one million seats on sale

21th April 2016

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is supporting families by offering a Summer Blockbuster Sale that spans all the upcoming school holiday periods so those with children having little choice but to take their breaks during these peak travel times have the chance to book a travel bargain. From today (21st April), one million seats are on sale with booking available through to midnight on 26th April 2016 at www.flybe.com. One way fares are from £24.99 including taxes and charges for travel dates between 23rd May and 31st October, 2016.

With the threat of fines for taking children out of school during term time, families can often find themselves trapped by higher costs during holiday periods, so the Blockbuster Summer Sale helps resolve this. The sale includes an extensive selection of family friendly destinations from regional airports giving the added advantage of families avoiding the stress often associated with travel to and from the larger London-based airports.

Travellers looking for some summer sunshine can choose from destinations including Faro, Biarritz, Alicante and Malaga alongside iconic destinations such as Paris, Dublin and Milan. With 98% of Flybe flights taking less than 90 minutes, a summer getaway is never that far away, with less time spent travelling, more time can be spent relaxing. For those looking for destinations closer to home, Newquay is one of the most popular summer destinations in the UK, and can be reached with Flybe from all over the UK including Belfast City, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham leaving no excuses for any aspiring surfers to catch some waves on the South West coast this summer.
