FLYBE TO OPERATE LUXEMBOURG FLIGHTS WITH ONLY TWO ROUTES OUTSIDE OF LONDON

Leading regional airline boosts 2016 Summer schedule with two more brand new routes from Manchester and Birmingham

2nd March 2016

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today (2nd March 2016) announced brand new routes from Manchester and Birmingham to Luxembourg, widening the opportunity to more travellers to fly to a destination only currently served via London, Tickets are available for booking now at www.flybe.com with one way fares from £29.99 including taxes and charges, effective for travel from 1st September (Manchester) and 5th September (Birmingham). The convenient schedule offers daily flights from Birmingham; with twice daily weekday flights from Manchester and one flight a day at weekends.

Flights from Manchester have been timed to make day returns to this often overlooked destination a real possibility, leaving Manchester at 0730 allowing a full 10 hours in Luxembourg before touching down back in the North of England at 2035. With Luxembourg Airport being situated just five miles from the centre of Luxembourg City, there is plenty of time to explore the capital city and its picturesque medieval buildings – there is even enough time to try one of its many four Michelin-starred restaurants.

Luxembourg is not only a key business destination, but is also a hidden European gem with dramatic countryside scattered with fairytale-style castles.

Vincent Hodder, Flybe Chief Revenue Officer- “We are delighted to be adding Luxembourg to our Summer schedules from both Manchester and Birmingham. Until now, direct flights to Luxembourg were only possible via London. We are opening up yet another key business and tourist destination to travellers outside of the M25 corridor and look forward to welcoming all our new customers on board in September.”
