Over the last twelve months we have continued to grow and develop the airline to provide the most cost-effective, efficient and flexible service for our passengers. Our 2015 Summer schedule boosts further the large selection of flights to great city and sun destinations from Birmingham.”

Bastia is located on the northern tip of the French island of Corsica and the city between the sea and the mountains, and is a thriving ferry and cruise port.  The French city of Biarritz, located on the Atlantic coast close to the Spanish border on the Bay of Biscay, is a luxurious seaside town that is also host to one of the world’s premier longboard events and as such is hugely popular as a vibrant surfing destination.

William Pearson, Aviation Development Director at Birmingham Airport, added: “Next summer is promising to be an exciting time at Birmingham Airport, following Flybe’s decision to introduce two brand new routes to Biarritz and Bastia.

“Flybe’s summer 15 schedule, packed with 25 routes in total, will provide Birmingham passengers with even greater choice and flexibility. Whether it’s business or leisure travel, city breaks or sun destinations, Flybe’s extensive and broad summer schedule at Birmingham is certainly great news for passengers in the region.”
