It’s ‘Snow’ Joke – Strike A Pose To Hit The Slopes For Free This Winter

Leading regional airline partners with Cardiff Airport to seek out best snow action shots!

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, and Cardiff Airport have joined forces to give adrenalin-fuelled skiers and snowboarders the chance to hit the slopes in style to mark the start of weekly flights to Geneva, which take off from Cardiff from 20th December 2014. The Airport is asking skiers and snowboarders to post their most exciting action shots on the slopes and upload them onto the Cardiff Airport website at

One photo will be drawn at random each day between 1st-10th December and daily winners will receive a stylish winter hat. The Top 10 images will then be put to a public vote on Cardiff Airport’s Facebook page and the owner of the most popular image will be crowned the winner of a pair of return flights from Cardiff to Geneva.  

The prize comes complete with free parking and access to Cardiff Airport’s Executive Lounge.

Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Simmons comments: “Once again we look forward to welcoming on board many passionate skiers and snowboarders this winter so they can experience for themselves ‘the fastest way from A to Flybe’.

Geneva is a popular gateway airport offering convenient access to resorts in Switzerland, Italy and France. Flybe will operate weekly Saturday flights from Cardiff Airport from 20th  December 2014 through to April 11th 2015 to accommodate Easter holiday travel. One way fares are from £39.99 one way including taxes and charges.
