Flybe boosts flights at East Midlands with extra 7k seats

Europe’s leading regional airline adds extra flights and brings in jets on three key business routes

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has boosted three of its most popular routes from East Midlands Airport namely Belfast City, Edinburgh and Glasgow by replacing some Q400 turboprop services with larger Embraer jets, and adding a second Saturday flight to Belfast City. This will add an extra seven thousand seats on these key routes effective through to March 29th, 2014.

A number of the busiest early morning weekday flights to both Edinburgh and Glasgow are now operated by the airline’s 88-118 seat Embraer 175/195jets. In addition, to meet weekend demand to and from Belfast City, Flybe has added the following late morning/early afternoon flights to its schedule:

Flybe operates a total of up to 75 return flights a week from East Midlands Airport on six routes with one way fares from £28.99 including taxes and charges.
