Getting to Lyon Airport (LYS)
Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport is a 35 minute drive in normal traffic from the city centre. Public transport runs to and from the airport, with a Rhone Express Tramway, a train service and a shuttle bus running from several of the surrounding ski resorts.
There are five car parks at Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport, depending on the length of your stay. There are also three drop-off areas available, with the first 10 minutes of stopping free of charge. It is recommended to book online should you require a parking space.
Rhone Express trams leave Lyon Part Dieu train station every 15 minutes, and arrive at the airport in just 30 minutes.
Trains run regularly from Lyon Part Dieu train station to the airport, although the Rhone Express tram service is even more frequent.
Dropping off directly outside Terminal 1, shuttle buses visit the airport from surrounding ski resorts.
