What are the benefits of Price Lock-Down?
Price Lock-Down allows you to hold your itinerary and price for up to 24 hours for a fee, allowing you to time to finalise your travel plans whilst guaranteeing your flight price.
How long can I hold a booking using Price Lock-Down?
Your fare will be held for a 24 hour period which starts as soon as the Price Lock-Down fee is paid.
You can see how long you have until your Price Lock-Down expires by retrieving your held fare via the “Manage My Booking” section on flybe.com, by logging into your flybe.com account or via the link on your confirmation email.
How can I hold a booking using Price Lock-Down?
One you have searched for and selected your preferred flight, if available, the Price Lock-Down option will appear in the basket next to the ‘Continue’ button. You’ll need to click on the option and you can then pay the small fee to hold your booking for a 24 hour period which starts as soon as the Price Lock-Down fee is paid.
Is Price Lock-Down offered on every flight?
Price Lock-Down is available on selected flights operated by Flybe, Blue Islands, Stobart Air and Loganair. It is not available on Air France operated flights or on Loganair operated flights between Glasgow and Barra, Tiree or Campbeltown. Price-Lock Down is not available for Air Discount Scheme fares.
Price Lock-Down is offered subject to availability and only available for Just Fly and Get More fares. It is not available on All In fares. Price Lock-Down is only available more than 7 days prior to the first date of travel and is not available when using a promotional code.
Is Price Lock-Down available for bookings made via the call centre or at the airport?
No, Price Lock-Down is only available on flybe.com and can only be confirmed via flybe.com, which can be done at any time prior to the end of the 24 hour holding period.
Can I purchase Price Lock-Down for only one person or one flight in my booking?
No, Price Lock-Down is only available when applied to all flights and all passengers in the booking.
How can I confirm a Price Lock-Down booking?
Once you secure your fare with the Price Lock-Down fee, you will receive a confirmation email containing the Price Lock-Down details and your Price Lock-Down reference code. To finalise the reservation, simply click on the link in the email and pay for the ticket(s) online. Alternatively, you can retrieve your Price Lock-Down by logging into your flybe.com account or via the “Manage My Booking” section available on the homepage of flybe.com.
To retrieve and confirm your held fare simply enter your 13 digit Price Lock-down reference (starting with 267), which can be found on your confirmation email, alongside the lead passenger forename and surname. You can then confirm the names of the passengers travelling and add your choice of baggage, preferred seats and complete your booking with any other requirements.
Once the full amount has been paid, you will receive a booking confirmation email for your booking which will have your final 6 digit booking reference; this will be the booking reference for your flight. Once you have confirmed your Price Lock-Down the General Conditions of Carriage and related ticket rules will apply and change fees and fare differences may apply.
Please note that your booking can only be confirmed on flybe.com.
Can I select seats and add baggage to the booking?
Purchasing Price Lock-Down will only secure the fare price and not any additional extras. You can add seats, baggage and other products to your booking when confirming and paying for your booking.
How can I change my flights before confirming my Price Lock-Down?
Your held fare is only valid for the dates, routes and flights you have selected; no changes can be made to these. If you wish to select new dates, routes or flights then you will need to make a new booking.
How can I change my flights after purchasing the Price Lock-Down service?
Once you have confirmed your Price Lock-Down the General Conditions of Carriage and related ticket rules will apply and change fees and fare differences may apply. To amend your booking, please visit the “Manage My Booking” page to change your flight.
There has been a change to the schedule of my booking, what do I do next?
In the unlikely event that a schedule change occurs during the period of your Price Lock-Down, you will be notified on retrieval of your held fare. You will be able make a new reservation for the new schedule by visiting flybe.com. You can apply for a refund by clicking on the link provided and the card used for the original payment will be refunded with the Price Lock-Down fee amount within 28 days.
What happens if I do not purchase my ticket before my Price Lock-Down hold period expires?
If you do not purchase your ticket before your Price Lock-Down period expires, your held fare will be automatically cancelled. If you still wish to travel, please visit flybe.com to make a new booking, which you can either immediately confirm or opt to re-purchase Price Lock-Down for the new itinerary (where available).
What do I do if I no longer want my Price Lock-down booking?
If your plans change, and you no longer require your Price Lock-Down, no further action is required. Your held fare will automatically cancel 24 hours after purchase of Price Lock-Down. Please note that the Price Lock-Down fee is non-refundable.
Is Price Lock-Down refundable?
The Price Lock-Down fee is not refundable and is not applied towards the total price of your ticket. The price paid is to cover the cost of holding your booking for 24 hours.
