Do I need a group booking?

A booking for 9 or more passengers (excluding infants) should be made using the Group Travel Booking Form.

What are the benefits of a group booking?

Group fares offer more flexibility when compared to our standard fares, which require full payment and all passenger names at the time of booking. You will also get a free hold bag per person, discounted seat allocation and access to our dedicated group travel team.

Is baggage included in a group fare?

Your group fare includes one piece of hold baggage (per person) weighing up to 23kg and a standard cabin baggage allowance. Sporting equipment, musical instruments and all other bulky items are subject to charges, are only carried if space is available and should be made known at the time of booking.

Can the group sit together?

For a discounted fee you can choose your seats. Please let us know if you would like more information.

How long is a group booking quote valid for?

We understand that you'll need time to confirm plans and prices with the rest of the group, so unless travel is within six weeks, a group booking can be held provisionally for one week without payment.

Why is my quote more than the price advertised on your website?

The number of seats made available at each web fare may be limited and therefore not available for groups of 9 or more.

When will I need to pay the full amount?

For group bookings, the full balance payment is required a minimum of six weeks before date of departure. For bookings made within six weeks the full balance is required within one day of the date of booking. If a booking is made within three days of departure, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Failure to pay balance by this deadline will result in all seats being cancelled.

Payment can be made by credit or debit card only. We are unable to accept payment by bacs transfer.

Payment can be made up to half an hour before the Groups Office closes.

When do I need to confirm names?

Names are required a minimum of six weeks before date of departure. For bookings made within six weeks names are required within one day of the date of booking. If a booking is made within three days of departure, full names must be given at the time of booking.

Bookings can be held under a contact name or group name. Names can be altered free of charge up to six days prior to the outbound travel date. Within six days name changes will incur a £50 (€65) charge per change.

How much is the deposit for a group booking?

A non-refundable deposit will secure a group booking. The deposit on UK domestic routes and routes operating within the Republic of Ireland is £30 (€45) per person. For international routes a deposit of £45 (€60) per person is required. The full balance must be paid six weeks prior to the departure date.

For bookings made within six weeks the full balance is required within one day of the date of booking. If a booking is made within three days of departure, full payment must be made at the time of booking.

Can I cancel my group booking?

If you wish to cancel outside of six weeks, you will lose your deposit only. Cancelling within six weeks of travel will incur a 100% penalty.

Can I change my itinerary?

You may change your itinerary free of charge up to six weeks of departure. You will be required to pay a fare difference if applicable. 

Itinerary changes within six weeks of departure: One change may be made to either the outbound or inbound flight and is subject to any difference in fare plus £50 (€65) charge per person per sector. Itinerary changes should be made by telephoning the Group Sales Department and can be made up to two hours before departure. Itinerary changes may not be made at Flybe ticket desks.

Can I check a group booking in online?

Online check-in is not available for group bookings. Please check in at the airport check-in desk free of charge. Your group should present at check-in no later than 1½ hours prior to departure, two hours if travelling on an international flight.
