The Airport offers a number of different car parking options on site to fit your needs. The short stay car park, located nearest to the terminal, is just minutes away from the airportâs main concourse. Prices start at Â£6 for the first 30 minutes, with charges upward of Â£11 thereafter. If you need to leave your car at the airport whilst away, then you'll want to make use of the long stay car park; this can be found just beyond short stay parking with the furthest bay 7 minutes form the terminal entrance. Additionally, free motorcycle and bicycle parking is located beneath the Dockland Light Railway viaduct, which can be found opposite the main terminal.

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) service is an overground train system that connects East London to the London Underground network. The airport has its own DLR station connected to the terminal, with trains departing every 8 to 15 minutes. If you are travelling out of London, the closest National Rail stations include Waterloo, London Bridge and Stratford International. All of these can be reached via the Jubilee line from Canning Town, a 7 minute DLR journey from the airport. A free shuttle bus, number 573, operates in a one way loop from London City Airport via Albert Road, Woolwich Free Ferry and Woolwich Manor Way, then non-stop to the Price Regent DLR station, then returning to the airport. For night-time services, passengers are advised to use a taxi service.
London City Airport has teamed up with minicabit, the UK cab network, so you can easily arrange transport direct from your home, workplace or accommodation in over 40 UK cities. Bookings can be made online prior to travel.
Car Hire desks are located next to the terminal building; available services include Avis, Europcar and Hertz. Car hire services are open from 07.00 to 21.30 Monday-Friday with a limited service at the weekend. All services can be reserved online beforehand.
