Travel to and from Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport is located in the County of Fingal, just over 6 miles north of Dublin. One of the busiest international transport hubs in Europe, there are various travel options for your journey to and from the airport.

IATA code: DUB

Name: Dublin Airport

Address: Dublin Airport, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

Telephone: +353 (0)1 814 1111

Parking

If you are travelling to the airport by car, you can park securely in either a short-stay or a long-stay car park, depending on your needs. Dublin Airport has 3600 short-stay and 14,400 long-stay spaces.

Public Transport

Every day, more than 1000 bus and coach services run to and from Dublin Airport. Go to the pick-up points at Terminals 1 and 2, and you'll be able to travel into the centre of Dublin or to other cities around Ireland. Although there is no direct rail link to the airport, Dublin Bus service can take you to Heuston and Connolly train stations, from which you can make your onward journey to the city and further afield.

Taxis

Taxis are available from the forecourts outside Terminals 1 and 2. There are clear signs directing passengers to the taxi ranks. You can take a taxi for up to 30km, and your fare will be calculated on the meter.

Car Hire

If you want to explore more of Ireland on your trip, it might be a good idea to hire a car. You can do so from Dublin Airport with our partner Avis. Arranging your hired car in advance is likely to make the process run more smoothly, but there is also the option to organise your car on arrival at the airport.
