Alicante Airport, or Alicante-Elche Airport, is one of the busiest transport hubs in Spain. It is the primary airport serving the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia. The airport is located 9km southwest of Alicante, and has good transport links.

There is a new 6-storey car park at Alicante Airport, with short-term spaces for over 4000 vehicles. The airport terminal is easily accessible from the car park via a bridge.
Alicante Airport is well-served by buses, which allow travellers to make hassle-free onward journeys to Alicante city centre, as well as Benidorm and Murcia.
There are taxi ranks outside the arrivals buildings at both terminals. It takes approximately 15 minutes to get to Alicante city centre from the airport by taxi, and the journey should cost you around €15.
Hiring a car will give you the freedom to explore as much of the beautiful Costa Blanca as you can on your holiday. All the main sights are easily accessible by road.
