How to book a flight

You can buy flights via one of the following methods:

  • Buy online through this site using our secure online sales system
  • Book through our Customer Call Centre
  • Purchase your flight at the airport for on the day or future travel
  • By visiting your local travel agent

Flybe offers three ticket type options which can be purchased through all channels:

How to pay

Payment for bookings can be made using a debit or credit card. Flybe does not accept cash or cheque as payment for changes made to booked itineraries. Exceptions to this are as follows:

Cash payment is accepted for:

  • Walk-ups at outstations
  • Changes at the desk
  • Excess baggage payments
  • Exceptional items of baggage payments
  • Airport baggage payments

Cheque payments are accepted for:

  • Bookings through the Flybe Groups department 
  • Business Express customers

Flybe offers you the ability to select the currency you wish to pay online and you will be offered to either pay in pounds sterling or the currency of the Country in which the card is registered.

For bookings made with a card registered in the UK, the currency shown in your booking will be determined by the origin of your journey and funds will be debited from your account in the booking currency converted by your issuing bank in pound sterling.

Card charges

Flybe applies no debit card fees nor transaction fees. Should you wish to pay by credit card, a single fee is applied per booking regardless of number of passengers or sectors in your journey.
This applies to all Flybe and Loganair operated routes. Please view table of charges for full details.

Card charges only apply to:

  • New bookings
  • Ticket changes (itinerary, route and/or name changes)

Card charges do not apply to:

  • Any extras (baggage, advance seating, travel insurance, SMS) booked online or via the call centre after the original booking has been made
  • Any extras (baggage, exceptional items of baggage, excess baggage) purchased at the airport
  • Purchases made on-board (gift, fragrances, duty free, snacks and drinks)

Tickets

Bookings made through the this internet site or the Flybe Customer Call Centre will be made, where possible, on an e-ticket (electronic ticket). This means you will not be issued a paper ticket for travel.

Refunds

We do not sell refundable fares. Any tax redemption on unused tickets will incur a £25.00 (EUR34.00, CHF55.00) administration fee per person per sector.

Where we are forced to cancel a flight, we will refund the full cost of your booking including all taxes, fees and charges.
