Making changes to your flight

Date, time and route changes

Things don’t always go according to plan and when that happens, flybe are here to help. You can change your flight online via Manage my booking up to two hours before the departure time of the flight you’re booked on, or the flight you’d like to change to, whichever is earlier.

Change fees

A change fee applies for name changes. For an itinerary change, the change fee applies plus any difference between the original fare paid and the cost of flight at the time of the change.

Changes included within flybe Smart & flybe Plus bundles

If you have purchased a flybe Smart or flybe Plus bundle, you can make the following changes:

  • Fare difference and change fee applies for itinerary change

  • Change fee applies for name change.

  • If you want to change your itinerary, your flybe Smart bundle will remain in place and be applied to your new flight.

  • Free date, time and route changes. No change fee applies. Only the fare difference will be applied for route changes.

  • Change fee applies for name change.

  • If you want to change your itinerary, your flybe Plus bundle will remain in place and be applied to your new flight.

You can make name changes online via Manage my booking. Once you’ve booked, if you notice a spelling mistake on your booking, you can correct the mistake yourself online and free of charge for an error up to three characters. If the error is larger than three characters, please call our Customer Contact Centre and we will make the change for you at no extra cost.

If you or someone travelling on your booking cannot travel due to a medical issue, that ticket can be issued in a new name if a doctor’s or hospital letter can be provided. Only the standard name change fee will be applied and any fare difference will be waived.

If you have already flown part of your itinerary, name changes are not permitted.

If you change your booking online, all passengers within your booking will be changed too. If you don’t want to make the change to everyone in your party, please call the Customer Contact Centre.
