Getting to Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh Airport is located approximately 8 miles west of the city centre, and is easily reached by car from the A8 Glasgow Road.

Parking

Edinburgh Airport offers Short Stay surface and multi-storey car parking that is right outside the terminal building, as well as Long Stay parking with a courtesy coach service to the terminal. Passengers can be set down at the Drop Off zone on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park - follow the signs from the airport approach road. The passenger Pick-Up zone is located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park and is entered via the Short Stay Car Park entrance, and usual car parking tariffs apply.

Public Transport

Buses to Edinburgh and locations outside the city serve the main terminal forecourt, outside the main entrance. These include the Airlink 100 express bus service which runs every 10 minutes, and journey time to Edinburgh city centre is approximately 30 minutes. The Edinburgh Trams offer a convenient, regular and low-cost service between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre, running every 7 minutes until late evening. Journey time to the city centre is just 30 minutes. If you need to travel by train, Edinburgh Gateway train station is located on the perimeter of Edinburgh Airport, and is accessible via tram from the terminal.
