Southampton customers enjoy ‘A Taste of Corsica’ to celebrate new twice weekly flights to Bastia
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has started new twice weekly flights to Bastia in Corsica from Southampton Airport which will operate during summer on Thursdays and Sundays through to 27th September 2015.
To celebrate this new service, the airport is today (28th May, 2015) hosting a colourful Corsica-themed day giving passengers and the general public alike the opportunity to sample some of the country’s traditional food and wine courtesy of Corsica Tourism, Bastia Tourism and Bastia Airport and to learn about many of the exciting opportunities available for holidays.
The French island of Corsica is the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean famed for its 600 miles of stunning coastline, its biodiversity from mountains and forests, to busy harbours and white sand beaches, and not forgetting an abundance of world renowned food and wine, that offers something for everyone’s taste.
