Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today (2nd February 2015) celebrated the start of its brand new route between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Belfast City Airport that offers passengers the choice of up to three flights a day. The first of these depart from Liverpool at 0825 with the last flight returning from Belfast City 1915. There is one return flight on both Saturday and Sunday. The summer schedule, which begins on 29th March, will see the addition of a fourth return flight each weekday and an extra rotation on Saturdays.
To mark the inaugural flight, the first passenger to check-in this morning was welcomed and presented with a bottle of Champagne courtesy of Liverpool Airport, and complimentary flights from Flybe.
Flights operate direct into Belfast City Airport located a short 10-minute drive from the heart of the business district. This once again indicates that the airline is ‘the fastest way from A to Flybe’, offering a convenient time-saving option especially for those travelling for business.
