Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today announced its full 2015 Summer schedule from Exeter featuring 16 routes with a total choice of up to 110 flights a week across its extensive UK and Europe network and that includes the return of its sun routes to Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Palma Mallorca for another season. Tickets are on sale for booking at www.flybe.com from £29.99 one way including taxes and charges and currently available for travel between March 29th and 3rd September 2015.
This will also be the first summer for the airline’s new route to London City and Newcastle: and Flybe’s ski routes to Chambery and Geneva will extend through to April 2015 to accommodate Easter holiday travel. Flights to regional France are boosted with the return for peak summer travel of weekly Saturday services to Bergerac and Rennes.
In providing a ‘One Stop to the World’, Flybe’s seven codeshare partners offer Exeter customers extensive opportunities to enjoy seamless long haul travel through Dublin and Manchester airports. These airports offer the benefit of additional onward connections to Asia, Canada and the US available with the airline’s newest codeshare partners Cathay Pacific, Finnair and Aer Lingus when flights are booked either direct from those airlines’ websites or through a local travel agent. With these codeshares, there is now no need to go anywhere near the large hectic London hub airports! And there’s the very real advantage of US pre-clearance when travelling through Dublin on to destinations such as New York.
“Flybe is committed to responding to our customers’ needs and I am really pleased that we have been able to create a schedule that continues our popular sun routes for next summer,” says Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer.
“Over the last twelve months we have continued to grow and develop the airline to provide the most cost-effective, efficient and flexible service for our passengers. Our 2015 Summer schedule boosts further the large selection of flights to great city and sun destinations from Exeter.”
Matt Roach, Exeter Airport’s Managing Director added: “We are delighted with the return of these routes. As the main gateway into and out of the region, it is vital that Exeter Airport has a range of flights to meet the needs of the local population. These routes have proven to be extremely popular in the past and I’m sure will do again going forward. There will be thousands of passengers in the South West peninsula who will be very pleased that these Flybe services will once again allow them to fly to their preferred destinations from Exeter.”
