The main airport serving Shetland, this small international hub connects the island with domestic cities and destinations across Europe. There are a number of options for making your journey to and from the airport.
If you wish to drive to the airport, there are 500 spaces available, with both short and long stay options adjacent to the terminal. Pick up and drop off points are marked next to the entrance to the terminal.

There are a number of local operators running taxi services, which can be booked in advance or arranged upon arrival at the terminal, subject to availability. See the airport's website for further details about local taxis
If you're planning to explore the local area, you may find hiring a car is the best way to get around. Star Rent-a-Car has an office in the main terminal with agents for Europcar and Alamo. Booking in advance of arrival is advised.
Business and leisure travellers can access the internet within the terminal using a BT Open Zone broadband connection. Vouchers for access are available from the airport's information desk.
Owing to the small size of the airport there are no dedicated meeting rooms. However, travellers can stop off at the Airfayre Café for hot and cold drinks and light meals and purchase everyday items from the airport shop. There are also payphones, an ATM machine and a quiet room.
