If you are travelling to Malaga Airport, there are many options for your onward journey, whether you're planning to head into Malaga itself or travel further afield.
If you are flying from Malaga and wish to take your own car, there are short and long stay parking facilities. There is no need to book in advance as there are always plenty of spaces available but you may wish to pre-book in order to save time upon arrival at the airport.
There is an underground railway station in Terminal 3 of Malaga Airport with regular trains to Maria Zambrano Station in the heart of Malaga. From Maria Zambrano, visitors can catch high speed Renfe trains to other destinations in Spain, such as Madrid and Seville.
There are plenty of buses which run from Malaga Airport into the city itself, as well as to the surrounding resorts and towns. However, some resorts cannot be reached from the airport and visitors will have to travel to either Marbella or Malaga before heading on to their final destination.
There are always plenty of taxis waiting at the airport's taxi rank and this could be the quickest way to reach your destination, although it will probably be the most expensive after taking one of our cheap flights. The taxis do not have a meter and all prices are printed in a book so it is best to agree on a fare prior to travel to avoid any confusion upon reaching your destination.

You may wish to pre-book a car in order to get the best deal - it is a competitive business in Malaga and if you shop around, you could make a big saving. There are Movistar Wi-Fi hot-spots in the surrounding areas as well as in the airport.
