The airport is a small international hub and so there are a number of convenient options for your journey to and from the airport.
If you are travelling from Humberside Airport and wish to bring your own car, there are good parking facilities.
Located just 3 miles from Barnetby Station, from which inward and outward journeys can be made by the TransPennine Express and East Midlands Trains, the hub is well served by public transport.
Connections to Barnetby Station can be made by airport partner taxi service, Cable Taxis, which operate 24-hours a day.
The TransPennine Express runs services to Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport as well as surrounding towns and cities such as Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Sheffield.
East Midlands Trains operates several daily local services which call at Loughborough, East Midlands Parkway, Grimsby Town and Cleethorpes. Please see individual train operator timetables for more detailed information.
The Stagecoach bus company operates a shuttle service to Humberside Airport known as the 'Humber Flyer' from surrounding areas: Cleethorpes, Grimsby, Barton and Hull. Adult fares for the start from £3.20 single and £5.80 return and the shuttle service operates everyday Monday to Saturday.
A 24-hour taxi service is provided by a reliable local firm, located inside the terminal. Taxis can be easily pre-booked by calling the 24-hour phone line on 01652 688132.
There is also the option of hiring a car and if you're planning to explore further afield, this may be preferable. You can either rent a car on arrival or prior to travel. Avis Rent A Car and Europcar are all located in the arrivals area of the main terminal.
Humberside Airport information for the business traveller
If you are travelling for business, there are a number of facilities to help you work whilst in transit.
There is free Wi-Fi access for all passengers throughout the terminal – enabling quick connection to surf the web and check emails. The free Wi-Fi is available for 30 minutes in any 24-hour period, on all media devices (laptop, smartphone) anywhere within the terminal building. Pay-as-you-go options are available thereafter or for heavier usage such as streaming. If you're a frequent flyer, it is very easy to set up an account for premium internet access.
All departing travelers have access to the Executive Lounge, with a range of benefits from business facilities to newspapers and magazines. As well as a bar with complimentary beers, wines and spirits and soft drinks and snacks, business facilities include writing desks, telephone, fax and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Executive Lounge is open Monday to Sunday from 5am to 10am and between 3pm and 6pm to coincide with departing flights.
