Rotterdam is a metropolitan city, famous for its unique architecture, world port and innovative character. Book your city break to Rotterdam and you can witness the striking Erasmus Bridge, see the quirky cube houses, experience international cuisine at the breath-taking Markthal and explore the SS Rotterdam Ship on an onboard tour. If you’re into the old & new and live a vibrant lifestyle, then you’ll love this urban city. At night, you can view Rotterdam’s impressive skyline from the top of the Euromast Tower at a height of 185 metres. The best way to explore Rotterdam is by metro or tram or why not try an unusual mode or transport and cruise along the river in a water taxi for a speedy ride! Transfer from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Rotterdam in 20 minutes by train and discover the beauty of Rotterdam for yourself.

Utrecht is a historical hub, perfect for cultural enthusiasts! During the Grand Départ of the 2015 Tour de France, this centuries-old university town established its international reputation as a cycling city and is best explored by bicycle. Located east of Amsterdam, Utrecht boasts hundreds of monuments with the Dom Tower being the most famous landmark, intriguing museums and long and narrow canal routes. Let Utrecht’s medieval and laid back charm captivate you in the historical and cultural ambience by day and dine at the wharf cellars housing cafes and terraces by the water by night. Transfer to Utrecht from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol by train in 35 minutes.

The Hague

Why choose between city and beach, when The Hague offers both? You can smell the sea from the heart of the historic city centre. Take a tram and within fifteen minutes you’ll find yourself at the biggest terrace in Holland, Scheveningen beach, having a drink with your toes in the sand. The royal city of The Hague offers the best of both worlds. In The Hague, everything is surprisingly nearby. Gazing straight into the eyes of Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring at the Mauritshuis is just a beautiful, five-minute-walk away from losing all sense of perspective at Escher in Het Paleis. Go on from there to discover Mondrian at the Gemeentemuseum or Madurodam, where you’ll find a miniature Holland at your feet.

The Hague is home to both the Government of The Netherlands and the King, so don’t be surprised if you find our prime minister sitting next to you while you’re having a cappuccino. If you pass by Noordeinde Palace, you can see for yourself if the King is working.

Would you like to experience everything this city by the sea has to offer? You can reach The Hague via train in 30 minutes from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Experience the city’s hustle and bustle by bicycle, and enjoy Amsterdam on two wheels! Take a canal ride on the 400 year old canal network or visit one of the world famous museums such as the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House or the Rijksmuseum. Enjoy a shopping spree along the busy shopping street of Kalverstraat, or explore the more independent and boutique shops in the Nine Streets. If you are feeling hungry, stop for a pancake and a hot chocolate at the Pancake Bakery on Prinsengracht or experience the delicious apple cake at Café Winkel. Plus, when night falls, there are plenty of international restaurants to choose from to satisfy your taste buds.
