Transport links and parking

Frankfurt Airport is a major international hub and so there are excellent transport links if you are planning on travelling to Frankfurt and beyond.

Frankfurt Airport parking

If you are planning on travelling from Frankfurt and wish to take your own car, the airport has excellent parking facilities. There are both long and short stay car parks as well as pick-up and drop-off points. There is no need to book in advance but if you do, you could save money. If you book at least four weeks ahead, your total bill could be reduced by up to 53%.

Frankfurt Airport by public transport

The airport has two train stations, regional and long-distance, so it is easy to continue your onward journey by rail. The regional railway station, for journeys into Frankfurt and the surrounding areas, is located in Terminal 1 on B Concourse, Level 0. The long-distance train station can be found on Level 3 of the AIRail Terminal. From here, passengers can travel to various destinations in Germany and Europe including Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Brussels and Amsterdam. Both stations operate between 7am and 10pm every day. There are also a number of regular bus services operating from the airport. The bus stops can be found in front of Terminal 1 (Arrivals level) and Terminal 2 (Level 2).

Frankfurt Airport taxis

There are always plenty of taxis available at both terminals so there is no need to pre-book prior to travel. A typical taxi ride into the city of Frankfurt will take between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Frankfurt Airport car hire

If you are flying to Frankfurt and would like to hire a car, there are a number of car hire companies at the airport with offices in both terminals. There is no need to book before you travel but you may get a better deal if you make arrangements in advance.

Frankfurt Airport information for business travellers

Frankfurt Airport is a major international business hub and if you are travelling to or from the airport, there are a number of facilities which will allow you to work on the go.

Internet access

Wireless internet access is available in all public areas of the airport, provided by T-Mobile and T-Com. If you are already a customer with one of these companies, you can simply log in and surf the net. If not, you can purchase a HotSpot voucher for one, three or 24 hours.

Other business facilities
