If you are flying to or from Dublin, you may wish to know a little about the local transport links and the facilities one of Europe’s 10 busiest airports has to offer. To help you, we've created this handy guide. Flybe also operates flights to and from other airports in Ireland. Search our flights on this page for more information.

Dublin Airport (DUB) information

Airport Name: Dublin Airport (DUB)
Location: The airport is located 10km to the north of Dublin’s city centre.
Contact Information: Dublin Airport, Co. Dublin, Ireland. Telephone: +353 (0)1 814 1111.

Transport links and parking

The airport is a major international hub, one of the busiest in Europe and as such there are a number of options for your journey to and from the airport.

Airport parking

If you wish to bring your own car, there are plenty of Dublin Airport parking options. The hub offers secure 24-hour parking in its 3,600 short-term and 14,400 long-term spaces. Spaces can be booked in advance or paid for on the day of arrival.

Dublin Airport by public transport

The largest airport in Ireland, it boasts excellent transport links. The airport is served by more than 1,000 coaches and buses daily. From pick-up points at Terminals 1 and 2, you can reach many areas in and around Dublin, as well as the majority of big towns and cities across Ireland.

Unfortunately, there is no direct rail link, as yet, to the airport. However, quick and easy taxi and bus services are available to the majority of train stations throughout the Dublin area. Dublin Bus serves Heuston and Connolly rail stations from where passengers can make onward connections to the city and beyond.

Airport taxis

Passengers arriving by taxi will arrive directly outside either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.

Passengers travelling from the airport are able to hail a taxi from the same designated taxi ranks immediately outside Terminals 1 and 2. A taxi dispatcher is available at both taxi ranks if you require any further information or assistance.

Airport car hire

There is also the option of hiring a car and if you're planning to explore further afield, this may be preferable. You can either rent a car on arrival or prior to travel. Car rental firms based at the airport include Hertz, Budget, Avis, Europcar, Dooley, Thrifty, Enterprise and Sixt.

Dublin Airport information for the business traveller

If you are travelling to Dublin Airport for business, there are a number of facilities to help you work on the go.

Internet access

Perfect for business and leisure passengers alike, the hub is one of the only international airports to offer all users free Wi-Fi, with no registration required. To connect passengers simply need to login to either the free Wi-Fi network or the free eircom WiFiHub network and click the “continue to surf” button on the homepage. A free app is also available from the Android and Apple stores.

Other business facilities

Dedicated meeting rooms with full conference facilities for up to 26 people with full conference facilities, such as catering and laptop hire can be rented from €150 per day. These rooms have everything you will need for a professional, making it easy to set up a meeting. Should you require a room, pre-booking is recommended before you travel.
