Transport links and parking

Amsterdam Airport serves not only the city itself but also the nearby areas of Utrecht, Leiden, Den Haag, Delft and Rotterdam.

Amsterdam Airport parking

If you are flying from Amsterdam and wish to bring your own car, there are parking facilities at the airport. Some of the car parks are within walking distance of the terminal, the rest are served by a free shuttle bus. There is no need to pre-book but you may wish to do so as it could save you money. There are also pick-up and drop-off points at the airport.

Amsterdam Airport by public transport

The railway station is situated directly below the airport and you can grab a free baggage trolley to take your luggage to the train. The rail service operates 24 hours a day. Trains leave Schiphol for Amsterdam every hour throughout the night, and on a more regular basis throughout the day. The station also offers direct trains to other Dutch cities and European countries. There is also a bus service at the airport, connecting it with Amsterdam and other towns in the region.

Amsterdam Airport by taxi

Visitors can also take a taxi into Amsterdam from Schiphol International Airport. You will be able to take a taxi from outside the airport. A taxi can be pre-booked if desired ' for more information, consult the airport's website.

Amsterdam Airport car hire

A number of car hire companies have offices at the airport and there is no need to book in advance. However, if you do make arrangements prior to travel, you may save money.

Amsterdam Airport is a major international hub and has comprehensive facilities for business travellers.

Internet access

In today's busy world it can be comforting to know that the Internet is always at hand. Schiphol International Airport offers all visitors free Wi-Fi services from anywhere within the airport terminal. To log on to the Wi-Fi, just click on the 'KPN' network and follow the log in instructions.

If you need more than an hour online, there is also the option of a 'Premium Wi-Fi' service. You will have to purchase an access code but this can be done directly from your device so there is no need to visit an IT office to use the 'Premium Wi-Fi'.

The 'Premium Wi-Fi' service also allows visitors travelling for business the opportunity to print out information and documents at one of the airport's five KPN Internet Centres and Zones.

Other business facilities

The best place to meet with a client, colleague or associate at Schiphol International Airport is at the Airport Business Point, which is located in Arrivals Hall 2. It is open seven days a week between the hours of 06:00 and 22:00. There are also a number of conference and meeting rooms at the airport.
