Flight date and time changes

We appreciate that even the best laid out plans can change, and for this reason all Flybe’s tickets are changeable, where changes to date, time, route and/or name can be made to your booking.
Flights may be changed up to 2 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the flight you are booked on, or the flight you wish to change to, whichever is earlier.

Please note that to make changes online the person who made the reservation is required to make the itinerary alteration(s).

Depending on the ticket purchased at the time of your booking, different fees may apply:

Just Fly

With your Just Fly ticket, should you wish to make a change, a ticket change fee per person per sector will apply plus any difference between your original fare and the cost of the flight at the time of the change will apply. Please find details of changes charges here.

Get More

Any ticket type wished to be changed is subject to a change fee, however when purchasing a Get More ticket, you are able to make unlimited changes to your ticket and the standard ticket change fee will be waived. However if the cost of the ticket you wish to change to is higher, a fare difference will apply.

All In

By selecting an All In ticket, you will benefit from free date and time changes, where both ticket change fees and cost of fare difference are included in your fare. Should you opt to change your itinerary route, if applicable, any difference in fare between your existing and new route will apply.

Depending on the ticket purchased at the time of your booking, different fees may apply:

Just Fly

With your Just Fly ticket, should you wish to make a change to your route, a ticket change fee per person per sector will apply plus any difference between your original fare and the cost of the flight at the time of the change will apply. Please find details of changes charges here.

Get More

With Get More, you are able to make unlimited changes to your ticket as change fees are included in your ticket; if you wish to change the route on your ticket and the cost of the ticket you wish to change to is higher, a fare difference will apply.

All In

With your All In ticket, you will benefit from free date and time changes, where both ticket change fees and cost of fare difference are included in your fare. Should you opt to change your itinerary route, no change fee will apply, however, if applicable, any difference in fare between your existing and new route will apply.

Name changes

Name changes can be made via the Customer Call Centre (subject to opening hours) up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight you are booked on, or the flight you wish to change to, whichever is earlier providing you have not flown part of your itinerary and the name change applies to all unflown sectors. If you have already flown part of your itinerary, name changes are not permitted.
If an itinerary change and a name change are made at the same time only one set of change fees will apply. Codeshare flights will have different restrictions, please refer to your booking confirmation details for further information. Should you have made a spelling mistake when making your booking, please contact the Customer Call Centre where this will be rectified free of charge.

Just Fly

If you have purchased an Just Fly ticket and wish to change the name of the passenger travelling, a standard name change fee applies and a fare plus any difference in fare between the cost of your original and new flights.

Get More

If you have opted for a Get More ticket and wish to change the name of the passenger travelling, a standard name change fee applies and a fare difference between the original fare and your new chosen flight, where applicable will apply.

All In

When travelling All In, should you wish to change the name of the passenger travelling, a standard name change fee applies to all ticket types however no fare upgrade will be applicable.

General terms and conditions

Changes to your itinerary may be made online or through the Customer Call Centre (subject to opening hours). Please note that our cheapest fares are only available online. To take advantage of these fares we recommend where possible you make your changes online. When making changes online, all passengers in the booking will be changed. If you do not wish to make changes to all passengers please call the Customer Call Centre.

Changes cannot be made online if:

  • Your flight has been subject to a schedule change, disrupted or changed previously through the Customer Call Centre
  • The original flights are subject to minimum stay restrictions (some Loganair service only)
  • You are seeking to change the return flight's departure point or the return flight's destination where a different currency is in use
  • Your booking was not made through Flybe.com

Change fees do not apply to infants however their fare would be recalculated at 12% of the adult fare for the new flights.

Just Fly

If you have selected a bag and you wish to make an itinerary change, your pre-selected baggage allowance will be carried over free of charge onto your next booking

If you have selected a seat in your original Just Fly booking and wish to alter your date, time or route of your booking, and would like to add a seat selection to your new itinerary, standard fees will apply.

If you have selected to receive confirmation of your booking by SMS, you will receive an SMS of your new itinerary the day prior to your new travel date, however should you prefer to also receive a new SMS confirmation once completed your ticket change, standard fees will apply.

Get More

As part of your Get More booking your pre-selected baggage allowance will be carried over free of charge onto your next booking; you will also be able to increase at a fee your baggage allowance at this stage, should you wish to.

You will have the ability to choose your preferred choice of seat based on the availability on your new chosen flight. If a change is made to the booking within 24 hours of the new travel date or time, seat selection for the new flight will only be available at the airport.

If you have selected a seat in your original booking and wish to alter your date, time or route of your booking, and wish to add a seat selection to your new itinerary, you may do so free of charge.

If you have selected to receive confirmation of your booking by SMS, you will receive an SMS of your new itinerary the day prior to your new travel date, however should you prefer to also receive a new SMS confirmation once completed your ticket change, standard fees will apply.

Loganair

Ticket Change policies for Flybe flights operated by Loganair

Flight and name change policies are as per Flybe detailed above. In addition, for Loganair operated flights (BE6770-6999), the following policies apply at the airport only :

On the day request for an earlier flight
Economy passengers who arrive at the airport ahead of time may take an earlier flight to their destination on payment of the airport change fee only, without the requirement to pay a fare upgrade.
All In passengers can change their tickets on the day of departure without the change fee applying, provided the change is made prior to their original intended time of departure.
Check-in closes at -30 minutes, and there can be no compromise to this, thus a passenger requesting an earlier flight must arrive in time for the rebooking process to be completed prior to -30 check-in.
Glasgow/Edinburgh, Aberdeen/Inverness flights are interchangeable for this on the day policy where parallel routes are operated by Loganair.

Late arrival – after check-in closed but before scheduled departure time
If a passenger arrives late for check-in (i.e. after the 30 minute check-in deadline) but before the aircraft departs, then they have the option to travel on the next available flight to their destination upon payment of the airport change fee.

In all cases, if a passenger arrives at the airport after flight departure, their ticket is void and they will be regarded as a no show. If the passenger equally elects not to travel on the next available flight, they will also be regarded as a no show. As a no show, there is no entitlement to a refund of the fare (taxes are refundable net of applicable refund charge) or to make retrospective changes to a reservation held on a flight that has departed.
