Extensive Kitzbühel Skiing

Central to this popular resort's appeal is its extensive variety of slopes, suitable for all levels of skier. Its major and minor areas are separated by the town itself, with the major area spreading above the town from the Hahnenkamm.  It's the resort's Hahnenkamm downhill race course that provides one of the holiday destination's key attractions, having nurtured a reputation as one of the most exciting – and challenging – courses on the World Cup circuit.
Skiing in Kitzbühel is a must, with over 170 carefully maintained kilometres of pistes available to skiers between November and May, earning the resort the title of the "the world's top ski area".  The recently renovated lift system means that it's easier than ever to access the vast array of runs on offer between the Kitzbühel Horn and Hahnenkamm and gives you the chance to take a breather and enjoy views of the surrounding peaks and dense forests. Despite its low altitude, 820 snow-making facilities mean that well-kept runs are available to skiers for over 150 operating days a year.

Après-Ski Activities in Kitzbühel

After spending all day skiing in Kitzbühel you'll probably want to kick back and relax in the charming surroundings of the town itself.  The mostly car-free town centre can provide both blissful solitude and quirky bars with plenty of entertainment on offer to holiday goers. Cute shops and cafes line the Austrian hotspot's streets, which transform into a vibrant source of non-stop parties in the evenings, including Club Take Five and the lively Bergsinn bar.
