Last call for Euromanx passengers to travel with Flybe this winter

07 July 2008

Low cost airline urges winter travellers to confirm bookings by 22nd July

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is calling for all Euromanx passengers with tickets for travel after October 26th to get in touch now to rebook their tickets with Flybe and avoid missing out on its continuing generous rescue package.

Former Euromanx passengers booked on flights after 26th October 2008 must get in touch before 22nd July to ensure they can take advantage of Flybe’s special flight offer. As part of the package, stranded passengers will be able to rebook their flights with the low cost airline free of all taxes, baggage handling fees and airport charges.

Customers should telephone Flybe’s Customer Call Centre on 0871 522 6157. Passengers will need to show proof of Euromanx booking on arrival at the airport prior to travel and this will need to match the forward bookings list that will be provided by Euromanx.

Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer, Flybe, comments: “Two months ago Flybe stepped in to rescue stranded Euromanx passengers and since then we have successfully re-accommodated more than 20,000 passengers without charge. After the launch of our winter programme, we’re urging all remaining Euromanx passengers to get in touch as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

“We understand that reliable air travel is vital to the Isle of Man and following the collapse of Euromanx, Flybe, as the largest carrier at Ronaldsway, remains committed to offering the Island an efficient and cost effective service.”
