Flybe supports IOM starlet’s dream to become Oliver!’s new Nancy

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional low-cost airline is supporting the family of Samantha Bark, the youngest contestant in the new BBC reality talent show, “I’d Do Anything”, a nationwide search to play Nancy in Cameron Mackintosh’s new West End production of Oliver!Having queued for five hours on the streets in London, braving several auditions and competing against 13 000 hopefuls, 17-year old Samantha from Laxey in the Isle of Man is now one of the final 11 contestants left in the competition.
Flybe will be providing free travel for Samantha’s family to ensure they are ‘ringside’ to cheer on their rising star. Her entire family are getting involved including Samantha’s brother Carl, a Flybe pilot based in Belfast.
Ann Barks, Samantha’s ecstatic mother comments: “We are so proud and excited for Samantha; the whole community is rooting for her and we are really indebted to Flybe for agreeing to fly us to London each week so we can be there to support our daughter and her dreams!”
