The Likeaballs
LET THE FUN AND GAMES BEGIN
A new animated cartoon series is being broadcast by CBBC. 
THE LIKEABALLS is a brand new series, it’s nothing like any animated show you’ve ever seen. The stars are 2 teams of Ball-Shaped Aliens, a pair of TV sportscasters, called Pam and Dan and a shadowy group of humans called THRAAPF, who really don’t like aliens playing football.
This is their story…… The Likeaballs who are they? It’s the day after tomorrow. Two groups of aliens have appeared on Earth, the first group appears to be friendly and of good character (The LIKEABALLS). The other group is belligerent, windy and just plain BAD (The DISLIKEABALLS).
The LIKEABALLS live in a huge spacecraft (called BALL CONTROL) sitting in a park in World City, The ship is massively BIGGER INSIDE than out. Unlike the first prototype - which was MICROSCOPIC INSIDE and MASSIVE OUTSIDE (it seems the holographic 3-D plans were inside-out during construction). 
The DISLIKEABALLS HQ is a very-long Screwship. COUNT HORRIBALL had found the Screwship after the DIY galaxy had exploded. The very ship the DISLIKEABALLS used to puncture their own PLANET LIKEABALL in the search for air to replace the air in leaking from their bodies. (Planet Likeaball was a planet-sized old-style leather football, orbiting in space, full of air - but now, flat as a pancake). The Dislikeaball’s screwship is now normally ‘parked’ in a huge hole on the dark side of the moon, so is invisible from Earth. Sometimes it ‘parks’ on Earth, landing by screwing into the ground.
The Likeaballs are willing to take on any team in the universe – Teams that are Blobs of primeval matter, Zombie-robots, creatures made of Granite, a team of Weedy Geeks (don’t ask) – and they even play against a giant’s fingers. They will play anywhere in the universe – They also have other adventures that are not football-based.
The Likeaballs are lead by their Captain, Kickaball and before long they were renowned over all Earth for their skills, friendliness, teamwork and strange alien looks. Now they are famous all over the galaxy - and loved by many - but they have their enemies too. There is the shadowy group of Earthlings called T.H.R.A.A.P.F. (The Humourless Race Against Aliens Playing Football), which are against…er…aliens playing football.
The Likeaballs’ prime enemies are The Dislikeaballs - ball shaped aliens from the same planet, but not very nice ones. Not only are they mean and bad, but they fart. They really are a very unpleasant bunch. Lead by the evil Count Horriball, the Dislikeaballs will do anything in their powers to try and beat Team Likeaball. They just can’t bear them being the best. No matter how much the Dislikeaballs
cheat and fight dirty they will never win without teamwork - and that’s their biggest weakness. 
The Likeaballs rollercoaster their way through every adventure at a million miles an hour – They each have their own strengths and weaknesses, but by working together they usually work out solutions to football problems and other puzzles, usually in desperate, cliffhanging situations!
