Offering both short and long stay parking at its three terminals, we recommend booking in advance. Additionally, passengers can be dropped off for free at each of the terminals. However, there is a charge of £2.50 for picking up passengers (up to 30 minutes stay).
Accessible via the Skylink moving walkways, the Airport's dedicated train station can take passengers to the city centre in around 20 minutes. Services also run seven days a week to other major towns and cities, including Glasgow, Sheffield, York, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool and even the Lake District. Numerous National Express coach services also run from the station, with local bus services to towns such as Cheadle, Buxton, Altrincham and Stockport.
Black cab services run from outside each of the airport's three terminals, with fares dependent on whether the destination is within or outside Manchester. There is also a pre-paid private hire service run by Arrow Cars.
A number of major operators run services from the airport, including Avis. We recommend booking in advance to ensure a speedy departure from the terminal.
