Flybe Carbon offset scheme

Flybe’s chosen carbon offset provider PURE has pledged to meet the proposed UK Government’s Code of Best Practice for carbon offsetting including quality of credits used, transparency of costs and quality of reporting.

Donations can be made as part of the ticket-booking process, or separately via the Flybe.com website and are used to support emissions reduction projects that meet the international standards of the Kyoto Protocol.

Flybe is in discussion with PURE about where to apply our offsetting work to the best effect. It is our intention to focus on to support projects in both the developing world and within the UK that assist in reducing carbon emissions.
