Electronic, water vapour cigarettes

Electronic and water vapour cigarettes, look similar to traditional cigarettes and are used in a similar way without actually creating smoke. Nicotine cartridges are inserted into the cigarette and water vapour is released, electronically releasing a nicotine mist to the user. They have three main parts: an atomizer, usually a non-dg glycol derivative and a mouth piece with a small piece of lint containing a small amount of nicotine.

There are many brands available and are manufactured in many countries. As they currently have very little regulation governing their production and content, they cannot be used on board the aircraft.

Refills (bottles of nicotine) are not allowed on board the aircraft.

A small amount of this can represent a fatal dose.
