Flybe increases frequency on popular London Gatwick route

Leading regional airline announces 6th daily service to UK capital

Flybe, Europe’s largest and most successful regional airline, is adding a sixth daily flight on its popular Guernsey to London Gatwick service. Travellers booking a day return flight by 6th February will have the added bonus of being able to use Flybe’s dedicated Executive Lounges at both airports at no extra cost.

The extra flight, effective 9th June, has been scheduled to satisfy public demand for a late afternoon service to the Island and is a further example of Flybe’s long-standing commitment to Guernsey.

Additional flight details:

Departs London Gatwick 1530, arriving 1630
Departs Guernsey 1700, arriving 1800

As an added bonus, anybody booking online during January will be offered Flybe’s free Book with Confidence Redundancy Insurance cover.* To take advantage of the free lounge access offer, passengers will need to confirm with Flybe’s ticket desk that they are travelling on a day return.

Mike Rutter, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer says: “Flybe’s established services to and from the Channel Islands are a testament to the reliable and affordable model that has made us the Channel Islands’ most successful airline.

“While other airlines are abandoning their services to the Channel Islands, we’re bucking the economic trend and showing our commitment to Guernsey by increasing the number of flights a day on this key route.  Flybe is also committed to taking the lead in keeping Britain on the move during these tough economic times and this extra.
