Children with disabilities

Flybe would like to assist in making your journey with us as smooth as possible. If you are travelling with a child who has a disability please contact our Special Assistance team who will be able to assist with any requirements that you may have.

Please note that if a child, aged 2 years and over, has a disability which prevents them from sitting in an aircraft seat unaided and cannot be supported by either an approved car seat or harness, Flybe will be required to obtain approval from the Civil Aviation Authority. This will allow the child to sit on the accompanying adults lap during taxi, take-off and landing or when the seat belt signs on board are switched on.
