Flybe Takes A Load Off Passengers With Festive Season Baggage Deal

26 October 2012

Leading regional airline helps lighten the load for December/January travel with 3 extra kilos for only £4.99

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is ‘Making flying even better’ for its festive season passengers with an offer that gives passengers carrying additional luggage during December and January the opportunity to receive over 30% off when needing to book those all important extra kilos.

From today through to November 26th, 2012 customers can buy an extra three kilos of hold baggage for just £4.99 for travel to be taken during December and January. This means that passengers can transport 23kg of hold baggage for just £19.98 (£20.98 on European flights).

Simon Lilley, Flybe’s Director of Marketing comments: “We are committed to ‘Making Flying Better’ for our passengers and  understand that people are necessarily wanting to carry additional baggage at this time of the year. They are looking for peace of mind when travelling with Christmas shopping, visiting friends and family with presents or simply looking to escape to sunnier climates over the New Year so we hope that the opportunity to carry 23kg for under £20 will be well received."
