We hope they will enjoy their first ever Flybe experience. It is one that offers quality and friendly service at affordable prices. We hope also that their first flight, whether it be on Sunday or some time later, will become the first of many as they realise the benefits of convenient, point to point travel and become valued frequent fliers.“
Mr Rutter continues: “With its close proximity to the heart of Stockholm and simple, efficient airport experience, Bromma is an important part of Flybe’s growth plans to become the champion for the Nordic area. We look forward to announcing new routes soon from Bromma to complement our successful Tallinn service!”
The start of Flybe’s winter schedule is a new beginning for the former Finnish Commuter Airlines (Finncomm) whose joint acquisition was announced by Flybe and Finnair in July. Finncomm is now absorbed into Flybe. The new branding and colours are already visible on three ATR aircraft, while the rest of the fleet is anticipated to be complete by spring next year.
Mr Rutter adds: “We have all been working hard to ensure that everything is ready for our first passengers. We assure our customers that we remain committed to providing schedules that are both economically and environmentally sustainable.
“This weekend marks yet another important milestone for the Flybe brand and moves us one step closer to becoming the preferred regional airline for the Nordic and Baltic region. Welcome on board!”
