Leading regional airline brings elite British athletes to the prestigious Commonwealth Games Awards Dinner
Flybe, the UK’s number one domestic carrier, today welcomes some of Britain’s finest athletes onto its service from London Gatwick to Leeds Bradford as the sports stars arrive in Leeds to attend this year’s Commonwealth Games Awards.
Since BMI axed its route in June, Flybe has carried over 17,000 passengers to and from the nation’s capital and is honoured that Lennox Lewis, the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world; along with Michael Fennell, Al Hamilton, Fay Nesbeth, Derek Williams, Rudolph, Walker and Dounne Walker will today be travelling on Flybe’s invaluable commuter route.
