Re: Unacceptable Lack of Fire Cover at Guernsey Airport

Flybe has informed me that my flight was cancelled today because there was no fire cover at Guernsey airport to allow their aircraft to operate.

I was shocked to be told that this is an issue that the States of Guernsey have been unsuccessful in resolving for around two years, a state of affairs that I find unacceptable.

Furthermore, Flybe has also informed me that they will not compensate me for this cancellation. Therefore, I would be grateful if you can  advise me how I can go about claiming compensation from your Department for the gross inconvenience this cancellation has caused me.
