Grab a valued memento during Grecians' victory parade

Grecians to throw signed Flybe baseball caps to fans during bus parade

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline and the chief club sponsor of Exeter City FC, is joining in the celebrations of the Grecians’ promotion to League One this Saturday with an exclusive giveaway during the victory parade.

The airline has donated 25 Flybe baseball caps, each of which will be signed by one member of the triumphant Grecians’ team that, having been worn by the player on the victory parade bus will, at various points during the parade, be thrown into the crowd by the players on the top deck!

Flybe and Exeter City FC have a highly successful and long standing partnership that began in 2002. The deal was reaffirmed last month when the airline extended its sponsorship of the Club until 2010. Flybe’s sponsorship of the club includes grassroots’ projects such as the Club’s Community Scheme which sees the airline working with the Club to offer free community coaching at local schools.

Simon Lilley, Director of Marketing for Flybe, says: “To celebrate Exeter City’s fantastic second successive promotion, we’re offering their loyal fans and supporters a chance to get hold of an exclusive item of memorabilia during the victory parade.

“Every Flybe baseball cap will be signed by one member of the triumphant Grecians and thrown from the bus to the fans, but as there are only 25 up for grabs, people will need to stay on their toes to ensure they’re around to get their hands on one of these sought-after mementos!”
