Located on the outskirts of Poland's capital city, the airport is easily accessible via a number of transport mediums.
If you choose to bring your own car to this airport there are 3,700 car parking spaces to choose to park in across four car parks. P1 and P2 located outsides the Terminal are short-stay car parks for dropping off or collecting passengers whilst P3 and P4 are short and long stay car parks respectively, found to the right of the Courtyard of Marriott. There is also plenty of space to accommodate disabled passengers too.
If you want to take a break from being at the wheel you may consider taking one of the five bus lines currently in use, with many stopping at the city centre and Metro station. The 175 and 188 routes head directly to the city centre with a journey time of about 25 minutes.
Three taxi services operate through the airport – Ele Sky, Super and Sawa Taxi – and can be caught from a designated taxi rank. Although advance booking is not compulsory it is recommended that you book beforehand in order to avoid long queues and start your holiday sooner. Taxi fares to the city centre are approximately PLN 40 and booking numbers can be found on the airport website.
Passengers are presented with a wide choice of car rental options upon arrival at the airport, with 9 different companies operating in desks located at the arrivals hall in Terminal A. It's recommended that customers book beforehand using the numbers located on the airport website.
Free wi-fi access is available throughout the airport with 30 free minutes allotted to each session, bar the VIP and Executive Lounges where users can log in for up to 4 hours at a time.
Other business facilities that the airport can offer include a VIP lounge, where passengers can wait for their flight in a more relaxed, quiet environment as well as make use of separate check-in, passport control and secury clearance services. Meeting facilities are available and passengers are provided with individual transport to and from their plane in luxury BMW cars.
