Milan Malpensa Airport has a number of car hire companies and it is easy to reach Turin from Milan by car. After leaving the airport, travel south along the SS36 and then join the A4. From here, Turin is well signposted (using the Italian spelling Torino). It should take around an hour and a half to reach Turin from Milan by car. Finding your way around Turin may prove difficult and you should secure accurate directions to your final destination prior to travelling.

There are taxis at Milan Malpensa Airport but it will be extremely expensive to travel by taxi to Turin. If you are keen to travel this way, we strongly advise you to make arrangements prior to travel so you know exactly what you will have to pay.

Milan to Turin by public transport

The train is probably the best way to reach Turin from Milan after taking one of our cheap flights near Turin. Milan Malpensa Airport has its own station, located in Terminal 1, on level -1. From the airport, you can catch a train to Milan Centrale, where there are regular trains to Turin. The fastest journey will take around an hour but it could take up to two hours depending on which service you use. We would advise you check at the station before boarding the train. A typical adult train ticket from Milan Centrale to Turin will cost between 40 and 60 euros.
