Prague Airport Guide

If you are travelling to or from Prague Airport, you may wish to know a little about the local transport links and the facilities the airport has to offer. To help you, we've created this handy guide on what to expect when travelling to and from this Flybe destination.

Prague Airport (PRG) information

Transport links and parking

Prague Airport is a major international hub and so there are a number of cost and time efficient options for your journey to and from the airport.

Airport parking

For those using their car there are a range of parking options, from short drop-offs to long-stay bays. A large number of spaces are available for all types of vehicle: from cars, to motorbikes to buses. Short-term parking is recommended in garages P1 and P2, mid to long-term parking is recommended in Parking C, 70m from Terminal 1 at a reduced rate.

Prague Airport by public transport

Prague Airport arrivals will find this busy hub is well served by several public transport options: bus, airport shuttle and train. Bus lines 119, 100, 179 and the Airport Express all stop at the terminal – the latter gets you to the city's main train station within 35 minutes.

An airport shuttle bus, 'Cedaz’, also operates to the city centre, running every 30 minutes. Children under 6 years of age travel free.

Several trains connect with the airport shuttle and combined fare deals are available.


Taxi operators are located in the arrivals halls of Terminal 1 and 2, with clearly signed departure points for each firm outside the terminals.

Car hire

There is also the option of hiring a car and if you're planning to explore further afield, this may be preferable. You can either rent a car on arrival or prior to travel. There are plenty of car hire companies at the airport and many have more than one office.

Information for the business traveller

If you are travelling on a business trip, there are a number of excellent facilities to help you work on the go.

Internet access

There is an excellent wireless internet service offering free of charge high speed broadband, 24 hours a day. Multiple hotspots throughout the terminals ensure no break in surfing time whilst travelling through the airport and there are also multiple internet kiosks/work stations in the terminal and business halls.

Other business facilities

Business halls are located in both of the airport's terminals. The areas offer a pleasant and a quiet working environment, in which you can find computer stations and refreshments.

Conference areas are also available for business travellers. There are modern congress halls with a capacity of up to 350 seats, suitable for staging conferences, social activities, training courses or business meetings. The hall is located on the first floor in the adjoining area between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

If your business needs are more informal, there is an internet café with PC corner in the ‘Rest and Fun Center.’ The centre boasts a comfortable seating area, printer and internet access as well as TV and showers. Mini-lounges are also available to hire if you would like some privacy either individually or with groups. From creating a mobile office to watching a movie or playing computer games, there are rooms to suit all interests.
