Transport links and parking

Charles de Gaulle Paris Airport is a major international hub and so there are a number of options for your journey to and from the airport.

Paris Airport parking

If you are travelling from Charles de Gaulle Paris Airport and wish to bring your own car, there are excellent parking facilities. There is no need to book in advance and a shuttle bus will take you from the car park to the terminals.

Paris Airport by public transport

CDG is the largest airport in France and so has excellent transport links. If you are travelling to Paris to explore deeper into the country, you may wish to use the high-speed train service. There are two railway stations at the airport, A'rogare 1 and A'rogare 2, from which travellers can make their way to Paris or other cities.

There are also shuttle bus services which operate between the airport and Paris city centre. The stops in the centre are all next to M'tro or local bus stations, making travelling around Paris easy. A typical adult ticket will cost between '14 and '19.

Paris Airport taxis

The easiest way to get into Paris from CDG is by taxi, although this is also the most expensive option. It is also the only way to get into Paris from the airport after 1am so this may be something to consider if you are arriving late at night. A taxi from Paris CDG into the city centre will usually cost around '50, but this price may vary depending on whether you arrive in the evening or at a weekend.

Paris Airport car hire

There is also the option of hiring a car and if you're planning to explore further afield, this may be preferable. You can either rent a car on arrival or prior to travel. There are plenty of car hire companies at the airport and many have more than one office.

Paris Airport information for the business traveller

If you are travelling to Paris Airport for business, there are a number of facilities to help you work on the go.

Internet access

Paris CDG has excellent wireless internet facilities but the service is not particularly cheap ('1.50 for 10 minutes). Orange multimedia terminals indicate internet access points. There are various places throughout the terminals where these can be found.

If you don't have a device (such as a laptop or smartphone) with you, there are internet cafes in Terminals 1, 2E and 3. There are also workstations with desks, printing facilities and more.

Other business facilities

It is also possible to hire a room for a meeting or conference. These rooms have everything you will need. It is best to book one before you travel.

Both Charles de Gaulle and Orly are served by the same website. If you require more information, visit the site: Paris Airports
