If you are travelling from Milan and wish to bring your own car, there are both long and short stay car parks at the airport. There is no need to make arrangements prior to travel as there are always spaces available.
The airport's railway station is located in Terminal 1 on level -1 and trains run frequently between the airport and Milan Centrale station. There is a free shuttle bus which runs every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, between Terminals 1 and 2.
There are white taxis licensed by the city of Milan located in front of the arrivals halls of Terminals 1 and 2. The journey time into central Milan by taxi is around 50 minutes and travellers are advised only to use vehicles displaying the message "Taxi autorizzato per il servizio aeroportuale Lombardo" on a sticker on the windscreen. This means you will pay the displayed fee - other taxis may add extra costs.
