Transport links and parking

Many people choose to travel to Milan Airport to explore northern Italy, or even further afield, and there are certainly plenty of options for your onward journey.

Milan Airport parking

If you are travelling from Milan and wish to bring your own car, there are both long and short stay car parks at the airport. There is no need to make arrangements prior to travel as there are always spaces available.

Milan Airport by public transport

The airport's railway station is located in Terminal 1 on level -1 and trains run frequently between the airport and Milan Centrale station. If you are taking one of our flights to Milan to explore further afield, Milan Centrale is an ideal place to start your journey. There is a free shuttle bus which runs every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, between Terminals 1 and 2.

Milan Airport taxis

There are white taxis licensed by the city of Milan located in front of the arrivals halls of Terminals 1 and 2. The journey time into central Milan by taxi is around 50 minutes and travellers are advised only to use vehicles displaying the message "Taxi autorizzato per il servizio aeroportuale Lombardo" on a sticker on the windscreen. This means you will pay the displayed fee - other taxis may add extra costs.

Milan Airport car hire

If you want true freedom when you visit Milan, you may wish to hire a car. A number of car hire companies have offices at the airport. They are located in Terminal 1 on level -1.

If you are travelling to Milan Airport for business, there are a number of facilities to ensure you can work on the go.

Internet access

The airport has comprehensive wireless internet access throughout the terminals. The service is easy to use - to connect, just open your browser and follow the payment instructions.

Other business facilities

Milan Airport also offers business travellers work areas, telephones, fax machines, photocopying, videoconferencing and meeting rooms. For information on how to use these facilities, please contact the airport directly.

The airport also houses a post office, chemist and money exchange. There are plenty of duty free shops, featuring products by some of the biggest and most famous names in Italian fashion, as well as bars and restaurants to enjoy while you wait for your flight.
