The Corn Exchange is a stunning Grade 1 listed building which now houses some eclectic shops. Leeds markets

In the city centre, you will find Kirkgate Market, also known as Leeds Market. This was once home to the first penny bazaar of Michael Marks of Marks & Spencer fame. Today, you will find all manner of items here, from fresh fruit and veg to electrical goods, all housed in a stunning building. If you visit the city in December, you may wish to go to the German-style Christmas Market, which takes place in Millennium Square.
